Dear KUFS alumni, Graduating Students, and the Rest:
This past year brought many unprecedented challenges and moments of uncertainty, but one thing remained the same: you care deeply about your alma mater, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies—about its founding motto, Pax Mundi per Linguas, its values, and the KUFS experience.
During some of our toughest moments, I can’t tell you how much it meant to receive your messages of support and concern for the health and safety of our KUFS students, faculty, and staff. I am constantly humbled and immensely proud of all of my KUFS colleagues and students, as you have shown true resilience, dedication, and perseverance.
Thank you KUFS alumni, graduating students, and the rest for all you do to keep KUFS strong and growing. On behalf of all of us within KUFS, I pray that 2021 brings health and happiness to you all.
