English Skills for Global Studies (Intensive)
English Skills for Global Studies (Intensive) *For students with TOEIC score lower than 650.
English Skills for Global Studies is a one-week intensive course designed to boost the practical language skills that students at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies need the most. Among these are academic listening, notetaking, summarizing, presentation, vocabulary acquisition, and discussion. Students will meet for three 90-minute sessions per day over 5 consecutive days, covering 5 different content units. By the end of the course, students will have improved their ability to understand and speak about issues related to Global Studies in ways that will benefit their future success in the university
Course materials: to be supplied by the teacher in the form of handouts and other digital resources (documents, webpages, audio, video, etc.)

1講 09:00-10:30 Content Introduction and Vocabulary Acquisition
2講 10:45-12:15 Listening and Notetaking Skills
3講 13:15-14:45 Presentation and Discussion

申込み方法 :
① 1号館１階の収入証紙自販機で、大学の収入証紙(青色)15,000円分の証紙を購入。
② 下記申込期間中に、３号館２階のランゲージセンターに購入した証紙を持参して、ランゲージセンターで用意している申し込み用紙に学籍番号・氏名など記入し、証紙を張り付けて提出して下さい。
