We are taking the following measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation.
■ All staff and users are required to wear a mask while in the library.
Please be sure to wear a mask when using the library.
■ Partitions are installed at the seats in the reading rooms and at the search terminals.
We have installed the partitions to reduce the limitation on the number of available seats and search terminals.
Some seats and search terminals are restricted.
■ The number of visitors are adjusted.
We are adjusting the number of visitors so that they do not get crowded. We may limit admission if there are many users.
■ The windows are open for ventilation during the open hours.
We keep the windows open for air circulation even when the air conditioning is on.
■ The seats are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.
We disinfect the seats and search terminals using alcohol.
■ Splash prevention sheets are installed at the circulation desk.
We have installed splash prevention sheets at the circulation desk.
■ A bottle of disinfectant is placed at the library entrance.
Please disinfect your hand fingers with the disinfectant when entering the library. Please also wash your hands after using the materials and search terminals.
■ A book return post is installed.
We have installed a book return post at the entrance of the main library in order to comply with the entry restrictions of the university and to reduce contact between librarians and users.
■ Use of automatic lending machine is recommended.
Please use the automatic lending machine when borrowing materials in the main library and reading room 5 in order to reduce contact between librarians and users.
■ Use of book return stands
We isolate books used and returned in a designated place for a certain period in the viewpoint of virus inactivation.
Please make sure to return the books you used by placing them on a return stand.
