Due to the state of emergency extension declaration issued to Kyoto, Osaka and Hyogo prefectures, our Action Standards Alert Level for COVID-19 Infection Control will continue to be "Level 3" until Sunday, June 20th. All courses will also be conducted remotely and the face-to-face classes will resume on Monday, June 21st.
As for students entering campus, or for taking part in extracurricular activities, etc., please refer to the notice previously released on Monday, April 19th.
We ask all students to continue to refrain from all non-urgent and unnecessary outings. In addition to the three important prohibitions listed below, please continue to practice good hygiene when it comes to washing hands, wearing a mask at all times, and practicing social distancing.
Students should refrain from:
・Attending any social events or gatherings for club or circle activities
・Taking part in any activities that require them to gather in large numbers, or any overnight stays with groups of friends
・Holding conversations without wearing a mask, except for when eating a meal
During mealtimes with others, please abide by the “KYOTO MANNER” protocols set out by Kyoto Prefecture and Kyoto City.
・Choose a restaurant/cafe fitted out with acrylic sheet partitions and adequate ventilation
・Wear a mask when talking
・Wash and disinfect your hands before and after eating
・Do not talk with a loud voice in the restaurant/cafe
・Take a maximum of two hours over a meal and keep your group size to a maximum of 4 people
