PAX MUNDI PER LINGUAS
At Kyoto University of Foreign Languages, we sincerely hope to see our motto "PAX MUNDI PER LINGUAS" come to fruition, and we aim to foster the development of students who have made this philosophy their own and who continue to persist diligently in their efforts even after graduation.
In our logo, this motto rests upon the Earth, and a white dove represents our students spreading their wings and flying out into the world as emissaries of peace.
