These short-term intensive Japanese programs are offered by Kyoto University of Foreign Studies ("KUFS"). It is designed for students who wish to improve their Japanese proficiency while participating in group works with KUFS students and experiencing Japanese culture in Kyoto — an attractive, historical city and college town. All classes will be conducted in Japanese
Those who have no background in learning Japanese are NOT eligible to apply to this program.
|Including||Tuition and class materials, accommodation, scheduled study trip and activities, breakfast & dinner served Mon.-Sat., and a transportation pass (Accommodation ⇔ KUFS).|
|Not including||Flight tickets, expenses for meals on Sundays, public holidays and all lunches, travel expenses between the airport and the accommodation, insurance and other personal expenses.|

Upon successful completion of the program, your certificate of completion will be issued at no additional cost.
KUFS scholarship is not available.

Program participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Kyoto. KUFS is not responsible for any loss or additional expenses incurred due to delay or change in services due to illness, weather, transportation strikes, quarantine or other causes beyond the University's control.
Please make arrangements to arrive at KUFS by 14:00.
