The first Open Campus event of AY 2022 was held on Sunday, June 12th. It was the first time in approximately three years where there was no limit to the number of visitors allowed on campus. Over 1,200 high school students and guardians visited KUFS from around the country.

The introductory program was led by a staff member who is also a KUFS graduate. They looked back at their college life as they gave out quizzes to introduce KUFS, awarding an original merch to the high school student who won the quiz contest at the end. We also invited a current student who is now studying at Canada to speak for us via Zoom, allowing the participants to listen to how a KUFS student lead their college life.

Other sessions included introductions of the departments, mock classes, the KUFS method of learning English, and campus tours by current students. Participants seemed to have gathered various positive aspects of KUFS, as surveys were filled with comments such as “The staff were all friendly and campus atmosphere was nice,” “I learned a lot of good things about KUFS,” “It was fun and inspiring to be able to interact with international students,” and “I feel more eager to enroll into KUFS now, compared to before attending this campus event.”

The next open campus will be held in the summer, from Friday, August 5th, to Sunday the 7th!
