To All Students:
Regarding Changes to How We Respond to Infectious Diseases
We are making the following changes to the procedures for absences due to influenza and COVID-19.
All students, please read thoroughly.
1. About how we respond to influenza and COVID-19:
(1) If you test positive using a home test kit, you must still receive a definitive diagnosis from a medical institution.
(2) To be suspend attendance, it is necessary to submit a "Certificate of School Infectious Disease/Recovery" designated by KUFS or a "Medical Certificate". Please print and bring the "Certificate of School Infectious Disease/Recovery" in advance when you visit a doctor.
(3) The Office of Medical Services will contact teachers after the suspension of attendance is lifted. Suspension of attendance due to school infectious diseases does not guarantee the number of absences. We request teachers to consider so that there is no disadvantage in your course of study, but for classes missed due to absence, please follow the instructions of the teacher in charge directly.
*Absences due to infectious diseases will be marked as "Absent(欠席)" in UNIPA "Attendance Management."
2. About our responses to other infectious diseases:
As before, submission of the "Certificate of School Infectious Disease/Recovery" or the "Medical Certificate" is required.
*Please confirm the details with the doctor if suspension of attendance is necessary for school infectious diseases when you visit.

5. Precautions:
(1) As a rule, the period indicated on the "Certificate of School Infectious Disease/Recovery" or the "Medical Certificate" will be considered as the suspension period. If you have a fever again, please visit the doctor again, and for missed classes, contact the teacher in charge directly and confirm the instructions.
(2) We will not proceed with the suspension of attendance in the following cases:
・If reporting after recovery
・If there is no response to calls from the Office of Medical Services (because the situation cannot be confirmed)
・If it is discovered that you entered the campus or participated in part-time work during the suspension period
・If there are any deficiencies in the "Certificate of School Infectious Disease/Recovery" or the "Medical Certificate".
