All Incoming Students,
All guarantors and family members,

With no sign of the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) stopping, the 2020 Entrance Ceremony scheduled for the April 1st (Wednesday), 2020, for the Graduate School, the University, the Junior College, and the Japanese Studies Center for International Students, has been canceled. This decision has been made to fulfill our social duty in preventing the spread of the virus and prioritizing the health and safety of all participants of the ceremony. We thank you for your understanding.

The ceremony itself will be canceled, however, all incoming students will receive explanations regarding class registration and handouts regarding their admissions, as well as their student identification, IDs, and passwords, by department/faculty. We will inform you of the precautions on the day, the start time and the meeting place, so please check it. Only incoming students will be able to enter the campus.

◇Points of attention
1.We ask that new students bring their own masks and wear them, and to prevent infection, regularly carry out hand washing, wear masks, sleep to maintain physical strength, etc. . In addition, please refrain from attending if you have a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher or have a chronic condition such as respiratory symptoms.

2.At KUFS, those returning or (re)-entry to Japan from MOFA "Overseas Travel Safety Information" Level 3 mainland China (includes Hong Kong and Macau), Korea and Level 1 or higher areas need to adhere to the following are subject below. (https://www.kufs.ac.jp/en/news/detail.html?id=14ilyPf1)
