As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection spreads across the world, the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and Kyoto Junior College of Foreign Languages have decided to postpone the start of spring semester 2020 from Friday, April 10th to Thursday, May 7th and the end of the semester from Wednesday, July 22nd to Wednesday ,August 12th .

However, the class registration dates will remain unchanged. In addition, students will conduct self-learning during the period until the start of semester. Further details will be announced as they become known.

Accompanying the postponement, during the period from late July to early August, classes will be held on holidays as well as the initially scheduled make-up classes and regular exam days.
