Over 370 high school students and their guardians attended a mini open campus on Sunday, April 23.

Introductions were made using quizzes in which all participants participated and PowerPoint presentations at the Introduction to Universities and Junior Colleges & Briefings on the Latest Entrance Examination System. Participants deepened their understanding while having fun.

Professor Makoto Kurata of the Faculty of Foreign Studies' Department of British and American Studies and Associate Professor Aaron Campbell of the Faculty of Global Engagement's Department of Global Studies gave lectures mainly on "run through” in the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies Mini Lecture. They taught students the learning points that can be utilized for English for entrance exams. A special booth was set up after the lecture, and many high school students enthusiastically consulted how to effectively study English one after another until the ending time.

In addition, many high school students participated in campus tours by current students, individual consultations by university staff, and the 3D/VR/AR experience event.
