On Wednesday, June 5th, a total of 39 guests including the girls high school volleyball team “Kaizen”, staff, and parents visited KUFS and spent the day with students of the Public Policy Research seminar (taught by Associate Professor Daisuke Nakajima) and the KUFS women’s volleyball team.
Koki Nakano, leader of the seminar and a senior student of KUFS’s Department of British and American Studies, planned a set of activities with the theme of “Experiencing Japanese Culture.” The high school students folded paper airplanes, played a game of paper sumo wrestling, and practiced Japanese calligraphy.
The men’s volleyball team also participated as judges in the friendly match with the women’s volleyball team that followed, of which KUFS scored a close 2-1 win after a game filled with excitement.
