Dr. Takatoyo Umemoto, a lecturer in liberal arts at KUFS, contributed an article to the August 2020 issue of SSRL Times Magazine, a monthly magazine by Studying Self-Regulated Learning, a special interest group of the American Educational Research Association.
In his article, he writes about how he teaches his students at KUFS to approach their study methods based on Weinstein’s theoretical model of strategic learning. He also mentions his practical research in education from the time he taught study methods to vocational school students that encouraged them to deepen their understanding.
