In accordance with the Law on Special Measures for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Important Measures to Prevent the Spread of Infection have been enacted and applied in Osaka Prefecture and in specific areas of Hyogo Prefecture from April 5, 2021 and in Kyoto City from April 12, 2021. However, at the time of writing, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and Kyoto Junior College of Foreign Languages are still at Alert Level 2 (Exercise Increased Caution) and our classes for the upcoming Spring Semester are still scheduled to be taught in face-to-face.
Moreover, as already posted on the KUFS website, if due to a preexisting condition, a student wishes to opt out of face-to-face classes, we have instituted protocols for these students. Please click here for more details regarding those measures.
Furthermore, we continue to ask students to maintain vigilance and keep up their own efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. Should any student test positive for COVID-19, we request the student to contact their local Health Center and the Office of Medical Services here at KUFS (TEL: 075-322-6024 or e-mail: email@example.com).
*As the situation is quite fluid, please refer to the official KUFS website for the latest updates.
