2019/4/1

On Wednesday March 20 2018, the blue sky stretched endlessly and a pleasant spring breeze stirred the air as the graduate certificate-awarding ceremony and diploma-awarding ceremony for the Japanese Studies Center for International Students were conducted. The graduates, sporting suits and hakama in various colors, made their appearance at the ceremonies looking nervous.

In their respective speeches, President Takeshi Matsuda said, "Please engrave KUFS' spirit of ‘tenacity’ in your hearts and achieve the dreams of the founding spirit in and outside the country," while Chancellor and Chair of the Board of Governors, Yoshikazu Morita, said, "even when you are a working member of society, I want you to resolutely do your best without forgetting to be humble and inquisitive."

In this academic year, there were 881 university and 124 junior college graduates, and 17 people from the Japanese Studies Center for International Students, 33 exchange students, and 36 specifically-accepted international students completed their courses.

To all graduates and those who have completed their courses, once again, congratulations on your graduation.
We pray that you will make the most use of what you have learned in university and play active roles in society.
