A panel session was held among students participating in the volunteer interpreting seminar as well as those who have volunteered at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Twenty current students participated in the session, which was also live streamed. The session introduced events and training seminars related to volunteer interpreting, followed by Vice President Kurozumi awarding certificates for those who have completed the 9th volunteer interpreting training seminar. Student representative Kurashige went up on stage and spoke about what he learned in the seminar as well as his personal growth.

The session was then followed by a panel session among three students who participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games as staff. They each spoke about their assigned tasks, memorable moments—one student was a torch relay runner—as well as their passion for volunteer interpreting. Recalling their experiences, they shared, “It definitely broadened my horizons” and “My motivation increased through communicating with people from many different universities.”
