In response to the announcement made by the national government to start vaccinations at the workplace, the Kyoto Gaidai Educational Foundation has decided to proceed with preparations for the vaccination of faculty, teachers, staff and students.

These efforts at this time are aimed at bringing the novel coronavirus infection under control so that the classes and student activities can be conducted without restrictions as soon as possible.

Please note that vaccinations will only be provided to those who wish to receive the vaccine, and vaccination is NOT a prerequisite for teaching, attending classes or other activities at any schools of Kyoto Gaidai Educational Foundation.

The details of the vaccination program will be announced to the eligible persons via Web Campus or email, but the outline is as follows.

【Outline of Vaccination Program】
 Implementation Period: Late July to early September 2021
            (Vaccinations will commence as soon as arrangements are complete.)
 Location: Kyoto University of Foreign Studies
 Number of People to be vaccinated: Approximately 6,000
 Who is Eligible?: Those who wish to be vaccinated from
          ・Faculty, staff and students at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and Kyoto Junior College of Foreign Languages
          ・Teachers and staff at Kyoto Gaidai Nishi High School
          ・Teachers, staff and students at Kyoto Career College of Foreign Languages.
          *1 Faculty, teachers and staff include part-timers.
          *2 Part-time workers and some contracted staff shall be included.
Vaccination Scale: 800 per day at most (Planned)
Vaccine: Moderna, Inc. (approved for use for those aged 18 and older)
