An article featuring 4th-year student Yukino Seri of the Faculty of Foreign Studies’ Department of French Studies, aspiring to be a farmer in her hometown in Higashi-Osaka City, was published on Page 8 of Mainichi Shimbun’s evening paper on Thursday, January 23rd.
Seri has learned how to grow vegetables by participating in agricultural training programs in Higashi-Osaka City and living on a farm in France. Coming from a family who aren’t farmers, her passion for farming is gathering people’s attention. “We’ve never heard of anyone like her.
