2021/12/10

The Degree Conferment Ceremonies for the Academic Year 2021 will be held at the Morita Memorial Hall on Tuesday, March 15th for the Graduate School and on Sunday, March 20th for the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Kyoto Junior College of Foreign Languages and the Japanese Studies Center for International Students. In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the duration of the ceremony will be shortened on both days (from the usual 40-50 minutes to 20-30 minutes).

On the day of the ceremony, entry will be restricted to graduates and postgraduates, while family members and other attendees will be able to watch a live broadcast in a large lecture theater on campus. Please note that current students will not be allowed to enter the building. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The degree conferment ceremony will be streamed live on the internet. Details will be announced on our website and via Web Campus in early March.

The content may change due to COVID-19. We ask that you regularly check the website for updates.
