2022/7/8
July 8, 2022
We would like to thank all students and parents/guardians for your understanding and cooperation with our university's measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Since July 2020, we have established and implemented its own Action Standard to regulate the behavior of students during the pandemic. Now, following a comprehensive assessment of the current situation, we have determined that the risk of infection, etc., has decreased a considerable degree.
Accordingly, we have decided to return the University's educational and research activities to their pre-pandemic state as much as possible and will discontinue the application of our “COVID-19 Action Standard” as of August 2nd, 2022.
However, some infection prevention measures will be continued, and your continued understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.
Ongoing Infection Prevention Measures:
・Wear masks (in principle, non-woven fabric).
・No one with a body temperature of 37.5 Celsius or higher will be allowed to enter the campus.
・Continued installation of splash prevention stands and vinyl curtains.
・Disinfectant solution and disinfection of necessary areas.
・Ventilate rooms.
・Reporting of infected persons or persons in close contact with infected persons to the Office of Medical Services, prohibition of entry to campus, and self-isolation.

・Considerations for students for not attending face-to-face (f2f) lessons.
※Decisions concerning the considerations for students not attending f2f lessons from the academic year 2023 will be announced separately.
※The details of the guidelines for fall semester classes, extracurricular activities, etc. will be announced by the relevant divisions in late July.
※Please be advised that, in view of the characteristics of the COVID-19 pandemic and depending on the situation in the future, the Action Standard may be employed again and behaviors on campus may once more become restricted.
