Blessed with pleasant autumnal weather on Saturday, September 19th, degrees and diplomas were conferred for the class of September 2020 (Reiwa 2). Various safety measures were taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The event was scaled down with no ceremonies; masks were worn and body temperatures were taken as degrees and diplomas were conferred.

This academic year, a total of 28 students—four graduate students, seventeen Faculty of Foreign Studies students, and seven junior college students—either graduated or completed their studies. Congratulatory messages were delivered by Professor Pon Fei, Chair of the Graduate School of Foreign Studies, Professor Takahiro Ono, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Studies, and Associate Professor Masao Fuse, Chair of the Department of English Studies for Careers.
