A networking event was held for those planning to study abroad, those who have studied abroad, and international students from partner universities during lunch break hosted by the Student Ambassador (S.A.) of Division of International Affairs on Thursday, November 16.
The purpose of this event, which is divided by language area, is to help those who plan to study abroad prepare mentally before the time by sharing with experienced students and international students the concerns and questions they have. They were able to get information from school life and making friends to local information that they could only do here, and had a meaningful time for their upcoming study abroad trip.
It seems that the international students were able to have meaningful international exchange, expanding their network of contacts and engaging in cross-cultural exchange by interacting with Japanese students who go to their home countries.
Each communicated with a sense of intimacy by using both Japanese and their native language at the event. Every groups from the language areas had a great time, and the event was at home.
