An exhibition titled "Old Tales on Crepe - The World of Crepe Books -" was held jointly with the Kyoto Prefectural Library at the University Gallery on the 5th floor of Institute for International Exchange (Building No. 9).

We exhibited rare and valuable materials such as the rare book collection, Crepe Books (A Japanese binding book made from washi paper that was processed into the crape shape after translating Japanese folktales and the culture of the time into a foreign language in the early Meiji period), held by the University, textbooks and newspapers from the Meiji period held by the Kyoto Prefectural Library, a large-scale machine called the Kneading Table for the production of crepe paper held by Ooiri-co.com, and the crepe book produced by the company in recent years.
