2023/4/5

Blessed with warm weather and some beautiful spring breeze on Saturday, April 1st, the AY2023 (Reiwa 5) entrance ceremonies were held in the Morita Memorial Hall.

This year, about 1,200 students enrolled in graduate schools, universities, and junior colleges. The ceremony was divided into a morning session and an afternoon session. Only new students participated in it, and guardians watched it live from separate rooms.

"We want to transform new creations into traditions”, President Takahiro Ono said in his speech, “and nurture you in multiple languages with the founding spirit of PAX MUNDI PER LINGUAS. Our university will provide learning in order to send meaningful human resources who will form the next generation to a new world through a Catapult to Knowledge," and new students listened intently.

"I will talk about language”, Professor Horikawa also said, “which is an important tool for those who have entered our university with an interest in the languages and cultures of foreign countries, world affairs, etc. Life changes when you learn foreign languages and broaden your outlook on the world. I hope you understand different languages and cultures to refine your personality and broaden your view of the world.”

New students, congratulations on your admission! We wish you the best in leading an amazing student life during your years at KUFS.
