The 2nd “Ask the experts – learning by delving into your passion” presentation event by the Language Center was held at the main staircase of Building 4 on Thursday, December 5th.

The lecture series is about KUFS faculty members sharing their own methods of learning and their journey of acquiring new language skills. This second time round, Professor Toshihiro Okamoto of the Faculty of Foreign Studies’ Department of Chinese Studies stood in front of the audience. Titling his lecture, “Say it, now! Seeking new forms of reading aloud,” he began by introducing the crowd about Kūkai and the autonomic nervous system, then presented his own method of learning by reading aloud.

The venue was filled with over 70 participants including current students and local residents, with passionate listeners taking notes.
