Thank you for your continued cooperation regarding our COVID-19 infection control measures. In Japan, although COVID-19 once seemed to be appropriately controlled, the current situation, including the large number of recently confirmed COVID-19 cases in Tokyo, shows that the pandemic is spreading again.

Thanks to your cooperation, no COVID-19 cases have so far been confirmed among those connected with Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and Kyoto Junior College of Foreign Languages. However, we are required to adopt further infection control measures from now on. In anticipation of an expected second wave, we have devised and prepared for additional infection control measures and established Action Standards for use as guidelines. We hereby announce the Action Standards.

The Action Standards table shows standards defined for six types of activities, including “Classes and Educational Activities” and “Extracurricular Activities,” according to the five levels of infection risk.

The Action Standards below will apply hereafter.
* Please note that the levels of infection risk indicated in the Action Standards are shown only as a guide based on the current situation, and that the actual Action Standards are subject to change due to changes in the situation in the future. Please check the website of the University periodically.
