西洋古辞書・古事典

	外国語大学の図書館として、西洋言語の古辞書の原典を蓄積することは極めて重要である。また、事典はあらゆる科学の発達の過程を知ることの出来るもので、本学図書館には不可欠なコレクションである。事典の中には、印刷術の発明以前に写本で流布した日常生活の覚え書きの書物なども含まれる。
	As the library of a university specializing in the instruction of foreign languages, it is essential that we have extensive holdings of original antiquarian dictionaries in Western languages. These dictionaries also allow one to follow progress in the development of all the sciences, making them an even more indispensable part of the Library’s collection. Our antiquarian dictionary collection also includes transcribed memoranda regarding everyday life disseminated before the invention of printing technology.
