ゼミの運営方針、テーマ

The overall theme of this course is the study of human rights issues, and especially those that affect women and children the most. Students in their 3rd year will first investigate the main problems that affect women and children globally, and build up a good understanding of such issues. This content will be delivered through the use of visual media, short lectures, and research and discussion. Students, thereafter, will need to offer a proposal for their thesis or project that has a strong connection to one particular topic or research area, and such proposals will need to be approved before moving forward. Both thesis and project students will need to complete and maintain a research portfolio throughout their 4th year, which will be checked and evaluated on a regular basis. All students will also need to make presentations to the class on their research findings. All discussions, presentations and written work will be conducted in ENGLISH ONLY.
