みなさんこんにちは。グローバル観光学科2年次生の河原のどかです。梅や早咲きの桜を見ると春の訪れを感じますが、まだまだ寒い日はありますね。みなさまはご体調などいかがでしょうか。
先日3月20日には京都外国語大学で卒業式がありました。ご卒業された4年次生のみなさま、おめでとうございます。京都で過ごされた大学生活はいかがでしたでしょうか。成人という自由と責任が伴う中で、多くの人々と出会い、楽しい思い出もあれば、苦労された経験もあるかもしれません。しかし、そのすべての出来事がみなさまの新たな環境に活かされることを信じております。
また、私たち在学生は先輩方に何度助けていただいたでしょう。クラブやサークルなどのグループ活動ではリーダーシップを発揮しまとめてくださいました。みんなが同じ目標に向かって良い成果が得られるよう、細やかな気遣いをしていただき、奮闘される姿がとても印象的でした。悩み事を明かしたときも「私もこんなことがあったよ」とさまざまな経験を話していただき、アドバイスをくださったことでとても心が軽くなったこともありました。大きな背中で私たちを導いてくださったこと、心から感謝しています。
これからみなさまは、新たなステージに進まれることでしょう。これまでとは違う環境に不安があるかもしれません。しかし、先輩方が経験されたこと全てが糧になると信じています。これからの人生が彩り豊かで幸せに溢れたものになるよう願っております。改めて、ご卒業おめでとうございます。
Hello everyone. I am Nodoka Kawahara, a second-year student in the Department of Global Tourism. Although the plum blossoms and early blooming cherry blossoms remind us of the coming of spring, there are still some cold days ahead. How are you feeling?
Just a few days ago, on March 20, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies held a graduation ceremony.
Congratulations to the fourth-year students who graduated! How was your university life in Kyoto? In the freedom and responsibility that comes with adulthood, they have met many people, and they may have had some pleasant memories and some hardships. However, we believe that all of these experiences will help them to make the most of their new environment.
How many times have we, the current students, been helped by our seniors? They have shown us leadership in group activities such as clubs and circles. I was very impressed by their meticulous attention to details and their efforts to help everyone achieve good results toward the same goal. When we revealed our problems to them, they shared their various experiences with us, saying, "This happened to me, too," and their advice helped to lighten our hearts. We are truly grateful for the way they have guided us.
I am sure that they are all moving on to a new stage of their lives. They may be anxious about the new environment. However, I believe that everything that our seniors have experienced will help them. I hope that their future lives will be colorful and full of happiness. Once again, congratulations on their graduation.
