皆さん、こんにちは！グローバル観光学科１年次生の中井涼矢です。春休みは皆さんいかがお過ごしでしょうか？さて、今回も前週に引き続き滋賀からのレポートです。今日は冬の楽しみの一つであるスキー、スノーボードについて紹介します。

今年は暖冬ということもあり、中々雪が積もらずオープンが遅れているスキー場が多く存在しましたが、2月には関西のスキー場もオープンし多くの利用者で賑わっていました。私は今回、関西エリア最大級の規模を誇るスキー場として知られる滋賀県米原市甲津原奥伊吹のグランスノー奥伊吹にグローバル観光学科の友人3人と訪れました。

４人のうち２人がスノーボードをするのは初めてと言うことで、経験者２人でサポートしながらのスタートでした。２人とも始めは中々思い通りに滑れませんでしなかったが、お昼前には２人とも滑れるようになり、１番上のコースから滑ることができました。皆滑り終えた時はかなり疲れており、ブーツを脱いだ後の足はとても軽かったです。

滑り終えた後は、冷えた体を温めるために近くのあねがわ温泉に行きました。ここは蘇生の湯や炭酸泉浴などの健康や美容に効果的な温泉が揃っているほか、また陶板浴も体験できるので、冷えた体を温めるだけでなく様々な楽しみ方を体験することが出来ます。スキー場の近くには他にもいくつか温泉があるので訪れた際はぜひ探してみてください。

関西にはグランスノー奥伊吹、びわ湖バレイはじめ、まだシーズン・オープンしているスキー場があります。スキー、スノーボードは基礎はとても簡単なので、少し教われば初めての方でもきっと１日で滑れるようになると思います。ぜひ皆さんもこの春休みに訪れてチャレンジしてみてください。

Hello everyone! My name is NAKAI Ryoya. I belong to the Department of Global Tourism Studies as a freshman. Do you enjoy your spring break? Today, I am going to report on my visit to a ski resort in Shiga prefecture.

As this year was a warm winter, many ski resorts could not open because snow did not pile up. But, many ski resorts in Kansai opened in February and were crowded with many people. This time, I visited Gran Snow Okuibuki, which is one of the largest ski resorts in Kansai, with my friends who also belong to the Department of Global Tourism Studies at KUFS.

Since 2 out of 4 had never snowboarded before, the experienced people provided support for the beginners. The beginners were not able to snowboard well at first, but they soon got the hang of it to try the highest slope at this snow resort. We were so tired when we finished our day. Our legs felt so light after taking off our boots.

After snowboarding, we went to a hot public spa called “Anegawa Onsen” to warm up our bodies. This place has a resuscitation bath and carbonated spring bath which are effective for beauty and health, and also you can experience ceramic bath there. You can warm your body as well as experience a lot of things at Japanese Onsens. There are some other Onsens near the ski resort. Please try going there when you go to ski.

There are such ski resorts as Gran snow Okuibuki and Biwako Valley which have still been open for the season in Kansai area. Also, skiing and snowboarding are not difficult if you master the basic skills. Even the beginners will be able to enjoy themselves in a day. Why don't you challenge the winter sports in this spring vacation?
