こんにちは、KUFS Eco Group です。
10/17（火）昼休みの12:50～13:30に、4号館6階にてguest speaker eventを行います！
今回のguest speakerは、オランダのユトレヒト大学国際政治・社会変動学部の准教授であるDr. Gerard van der Ree （ドクター ジェラード・ヴァン・ダー・リー）さんをお招きして講演会を行います。
ジェラードさんは、ジェンダー、植民地性、人間と自然の関係、コミュニティ・エンゲイジド・ラーニングといった、社会革新と変革を中心に活動しています。現在、人類と自然がうまく働き合えなくなってきていることに対して、人間だけでなく、環境や動物に配慮した政治改革が不可欠となります。
そこで、今回の講演会では、
・（世界的に）どのように人生に向き合ってきたか
・これから政治的にどう向き合っていくべきか
についてお話ししてもらいます。
今回の講演内容には、環境や政治だけでなく、歴史や政策、他にちょっと哲学的な要素も含まれています。
環境問題や政治、歴史、哲学について興味のある方、英語力を上達させたい方やそうでない方でもどなたでも大歓迎です！

Hello, this is KUFS Eco Group.
A guest speaker event will be held on October 17th (Tue) during lunch break from 12:50 to 13:30 on the 6th floor of building 4!
The guest speaker is Dr. Gerard van der Ree, an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Politics and Social Change at the University of Utrecht, in the Netherlands.
Gerard's study focuses on social innovation and change, including gender, coloniality, human-nature relations, and community-engaged learning. In response to the current situation where humanity and nature are no longer working well together, political reforms that take into account not only humans but also the environment and animals, are essential.
Therefore, in this lecture, the following topics will be discussed:
・Real-world examples of giving voice to nature
・Approaching the personal and political future for all involved
The content of this lecture includes not only the environment and politics, but also history, policy, and philosophy.
All are welcome, including those who are working on improving their English skills!
